The Peace Museum displays Akamba cultural heritage of material culture (artefacts), living peace symbols (peace trees) and education work so that people can learn their cultural values, indigenous mechanisms to solving conflicts, violence, war, and inequality in order to create social justice, peace, and cohesion. It’s activities are based on providing experiences that encourage dialogue and interaction between different people. The peace Museum is about 14km from Machakos town on Machakos-Kitui- Kalawani road near Kwa Mutisya market.
