You can find CPMHF , 2Bonge, at our Head office at the Akamba Peace Museum which is located in Kyanzasu village in Kalama Sub county. The Peace Museum was founded in 2001 by Cultural Historian, Munuve Mutisya who is also the curator of the peace museum. The Peace Museum explores the history and the often untold stories of peace, peacemakers and peace movements in Ukambani. The Peace Museum displays Akamba cultural heritage of material culture (artefacts), living peace symbols (peace trees) and education work so that people can learn their cultural values, indigenous mechanisms to solving conflicts, violence, war, and inequality in order to create social justice, peace, and cohesion. It’s activities are based on providing experiences that encourage dialogue and interaction between different people. The peace Museum is about 14km from Machakos town on Machakos-Kitui- Kalawani road near Kwa Mutisya market.
